ABOUT THE VINEYARD
We are only the 3rd owners of the property and with the guidance of Alan Mitchell (owner and operator of Territorial Vineyards & Wine Company and Bellpine Vineyard) we are learning what it means to own and operate a Vineyard.

Both the 4 acres of Gewürztraminer and 2 acres of Riesling were planted in 1979. Later, in 1997, 2 acres of 152 Pinot Gris clone were planted, followed by the 2 acres of Dijon Clone Pinot Noir in 2000. The rows are 9 feet wide with 5 foot plant spacing, with over 8 thousand plants. The vineyard is south facing and is operated as a dry vineyard.

Denea & Jackie Farrar
Dreamers, Planners, Farmers
We both grew up in very small towns, and thought we just had to get out! After traveling the world, working in large cities, and learning what we truly hold most dear, we found our way back to one of those little towns.
We are lucky enough to have built careers that afford us the opportunity to explore new and uncharted territories.
Jackie’s passion lies in Design where she has spent her career Designing and Building retail spaces around the world, most recently with Nike.
Denea, a Navy veteran, owns her own digital consulting business and spends her days helping larger brands navigate the marketing waters by means of data insights.
Our combined expertise in Design and Marketing, the love we have for nature and our desire to share its beauty with others are just a few of the reasons that drove us to learn a new industry and build a space where people will be able to experience what will hopefully be some of their happiest memories in life.

Owners of Teutonic Wine Company, incredible winemakers
Since 2009, all fruit has been sold to Teutonic Wine Company in Portland, OR, where several different wines are created - Candied Mushroom, made from the Riesling, is one of our favorites!
We were fortunate enough to meet Barnaby and Olga when we were first considering purchasing the Vineyard, and have since enjoyed many evenings sharing wine and stories in the tasting room at 3303 SE 20th Ave., Portland, OR 97202.
